Second Look Fair Registration

Registration is required if your organization/department wishes to participate in any aspect of the Second Look Fair. 

Second Look Fair table registration is currently closed as we have reached max capacity for table assignments and the waitlist. 

This year, the virtual component of the Second Look Fair will be a list of all organizations and departments that register on our website - you will not have to submit a video this year. You are welcome to add a video to your TerpLink page. You must be participating in the Second Look Fair in order to be listed on the website - you cannot just register to be online.

Due to spacing, we will not be having any College Park Merchants or Community Partners at the Second Look Fair.

Additional Information/FAQs for Second Look Fair Registration

Attending the Event

Students looking to attend the event and find their thing do not need to register or RSVP to the event. The event is free and open to all students to attend. Student Organizations and Departments wanting to participate/have a table at the event must register and receive a confirmation for a table.

Approval/Confirmation

Submitting a registration does not guarantee a table at Second Look Fair. A confirmation will be sent from SORC directly with your confirmation. You will not receive table placement information until you check-in for the Second Look Fair. All check-in instructions will be sent with the official confirmation email.

Wait List Process

All tables are assigned first come, first serve. Your submission will put you on the wait list (even if you are/were the first to submit). You will be taken off the wait list once you are sent/receive a confirmation from SORC that you have a table. There is no preference or a way to "move up the wait list." You will receive further instructions for day-of tabling the day before the event if you are interested in participating. Remember, this still will not guarantee that you will be able to participate in the Second Look Fair.

Releasing Your Table/Not Participating in the Second Look Fair

If your organization or department no longer wishes to participate in the Second Look Fair, SORC asks that you email secondlookfair@umd.edu by 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 so we can re-assign your table and notify another org/department of their participation. 

Special Requests

All special requests are approved on a case-by-case basis. If you have a special request other then having a specific placement, SORC will notify you if you have a special request that is approved or denied. Please note that the event is indoors.

Inclement Weather Plan

In the chance that UMD is closed the day of the Second Look Fair, we will cancel the event and host a virtual fair over the course of a week later in February. More information will be sent to all organizations if this is the case. If the day is delayed, we will send out communications on what the fair will look like.
