Stamp staff will greet all customers in a courteous and pleasant manner, offering a friendly smile and approachable attitude. A positive first impression is a foundation of exceptional customer service.


Interpersonal interactions between our staff members and our customers will be conducted in a way that makes the customer feel heard, acknowledged, appreciated, and welcome. Clear and empathetic communication that fully engages each customer aids student development, builds rapport, and develops customer loyalty.


Stamp staff will be well-informed about our programs, policies, department, facilities, and campus. Customers can rely on us for consistent and truthful information that enriches their experience.


Stamp staff will present themselves in a manner that conveys a commitment to safety, detail, presentation, efficiency, and professionalism.  Our strong work ethic will be evident in our care for our positions, our department, our facilities, and our university.


Departmental staff will gain an understanding of customers’ needs and will meet those needs. Stamp staff will offer helpful and timely solutions, resources, and information in response to customer questions and concerns. An appreciative solution orientation focuses on remedies, not problems.
