SORC Finance is currently updating materials and spending procedures for the 2026-2027 academic year. These updates will take place gradually over the summer and be completed by the first week of August. While student organizations are welcome to use the resources currently available, information may not be completely up-to-date until August.
Student organization leaders who need to make timely purchase requests over the summer may make spending requests utilizing procedures from the 2025-2026 academic year, but starting in August, all organization leaders who wish to request spending through SORC Finance will need to take the updated SPEND Training and complete the quiz to gain access to the updated Spending Request Form. Hence, it is recommended that incoming presidents and treasurers do not take the current SPEND Training since the updated training will be required for purchases in the 2026-2027 academic year.
About Us
SORC Finance Office staff assists student organizations with the management of Student Government Association (SGA) allocated funds. Additionally, SORC Finance Office staff provide advice and support to all registered student organizations to develop budget and fundraising strategies, open an organizational bank account or provide any other assistance related to the financial operations of your organization.

While walk-ins are welcome whenever we are open, for complex matters, you may wish to make an appointment to ensure a staff member can assist you with minimal wait.
SORC Finance is open with limited service from 9 AM to 10 AM and 5 PM to 6 PM on weekdays. Please contact us in advance via email or phone to ensure we can assist with your specific need if you plan to drop in during these times.
SORC Finance is closed on University holidays and in accordance with other University closures (e.g. inclement weather).
