University Department & Student Organization Discount
If you are a university department or a registered student organization, the room rental and IT related fees that you are charged for events is already discounted from what you would be expected to pay as an off-campus client.
Faculty & Staff Discount
25% Faculty & Staff Discount
Current University of Maryland, College Park faculty and staff can rent space in the Stamp for weddings, parties, or other family events and receive 25% off the normal room rental rate for events taking place in December, January, May, June, July or August.
This discount cannot be combined with any other discount or special offer. Events cannot be fundraisers, events that charge admission, or for any business and/or marketing purposes. You must present a copy of your current University of Maryland, College Park ID for verification. The faculty/staff individual reserving the space must be listed as the official/primary event contact.
Annual Event Discount
20% Annual Event Discount
If you pay the non-refundable and non-transferable deposit and sign a new agreement within two weeks after your event, you will receive a 20% discount off the room rental for next year's event.
This discount cannot be combined with any other discount or special offer.
Alumni Discount
15% Alumni Discount
Alumni from the University of Maryland, College Park can receive a 15% discount on room rental for private events. The event cannot be a fundraiser, an event that charges admission, or for any business and/or marketing purposes.
This discount cannot be combined with any other discount or special offer. This discount is not available to graduates of other campuses within the University System of Maryland, including UMUC.
Double Discount
10% Double Rental Discount
If you rent a space in the Stamp and also with the TerpZone and/or the Memorial Chapel for the same day you will receive a 10% discount on room rental.
This discount cannot be combined with any other discount or special offer. You must provide verification of a confirmed reservation for either the TerpZone or the Memorial Chapel to receive the discount. Cancellation of the TerpZone or Memorial Chapel reservation will result in loss of this discount.
