Events & Information:

• Terplink — Discover activities and events happening all over campus, including those hosted by more than 700 student clubs or organizations.
• Get your textbooks and visit the University Book Center.
• Campus Pantry - Emergency Food or donations to members in our community in need.
• Student Crisis Fund provides immediate assistance to students who face an unanticipated emergency financial need.
• First Look Fair — Find your thing. Whatever your thing is—sports, theater, community service, beekeeping, or just about anything else you can imagine—you can find it at the First Look Fair! The First Look Fair is one of the longest running involvement traditions at the University of Maryland. First Look Fair hosts over 700 student clubs and organizations and campus departments! The festive atmosphere is the perfect place to gather resources, learn more about how to get involved, and connect with other students with similar interests. 

Get Involved in the Community:

• Take time to commit to a cause you care about this semester through weekly dialogues and service with a local non-profit through Terps for Change.
• Make the most of your winter and spring break by signing up for an Alternative Breaks experience -- a week-long immersion trip that addresses social issues in local, national, and international communities.
• Become an education advocate and provide high quality academic tutoring for K-12 students in the local community with Maryland Mentor Corps.
• Find ongoing opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community via over 200 community organizations with Services 24/7.

Develop Your Skills and Network:

• Enhance your skills and capacity for leadership with Terrapin Leadership Institute, a 5 week student -facilitated leadership development program.
