University of Maryland's Homecoming celebration is a week-long schedule of activities that culminates in the Terp Carnival on Friday night, and the Homecoming football game on Saturday. Homecoming Week events are conceptualized and planning primarily by the Student Homecoming Committee.

Celebrate Homecoming and show your Maryland pride by wearing the color of the day:
- Monday, Oct. 27: Red
- Tuesday, Oct. 28: White
- Wednesday, Oct. 29: Black
- Thursday, Oct. 30: Gold
- Friday, Oct. 31: All Maryland Colors
Spirit Ambassadors will be popping up around campus and handing out Homecoming swag all week long. Make sure you're wearing the color of the day, and you might score some freebies!

How can I get Homecoming 2025 swag?
- Visit a spirit station. Wear the color of the day, and Spirit Ambassadors might reward you!
- Sign up to receive homecoming texts. Text "UMDHomecoming" to 71444 to get reminders and inside info about Homecoming, like details about pop up Spirit Stations. We might also surprise subscribers with bonus giveaways!
- Bump into the Scarf Spirit Ambassador. Visit STAMP while wearing the spirit color of the day and you could run into the Scarf Spirit Ambassador, who'll give a scarf to select Terps as a reward for their Homecoming spirit.
- Come to Terp Carnival! Kick off Homecoming weekend at Terp Carnival on McKeldin Mall, 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31. We'll hand out a limited number of Homecoming 2025 scarves and other swag to current UMD students.
