If you are looking to join an organization but don't know where to start, Terp Link is an easy way to browse through clubs in order to find one that works for you. Terp Link also allows for organizations to communicate and operate with their members easily through their website. If you are looking to become involved on campus, Terp Link is a great resource to become familiar with!
Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life
Are you one of the many Terps that decide to go greek? There are 50+ recognized social and multicultural greek organizations on UMD's campus, each with their own philosophies, programs and philanthropies. If you are looking for more information on recruitment, policies and involvement, the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life is located at 0221 in the Stamp Student Union.

The LGBT Equity Center stands to provide resources and programs to promote the idea of a fully equitable community on UMD's campus for all Terps. Whether you are looking to remain updated through their regular newsletters, connect with others through their networks, or assist in advocacy, the Equity Center provides opportunity to get involved. In addition, the center provides all degrees of support for individuals of all identities in order to make UMD a wonderful place for all kinds of Terps.

Alternative Breaks
Every school year, UMD sends hundreds of students on Alternative Break service trips in pursuit of impacting positive change in communities world wide. While break trips are fun, students find themselves pushed to approach new cultures respectfully, serve selflessly, analyze greater social issues and plan ahead proactively. If you are looking to make a difference through AB, applications are open from August 29th until September 25th.
