Hornbake Mall

Constructed in 1972 as a separate undergraduate library, Hornbake Library was named in 1980 for R. Lee Hornbake, the former Academic Vice President of the University of Maryland.

The Plaza, located just outside of the Hornbake Library, has a large stone center patio where high traffic of student and faculty pass all year round.

The Hornbake Mall is available for reservation for organizations affiliated with the University of Maryland College Park.
