President's Welcome and New Student BBQ
Days before classes begin, Fall semester
Part of Fall Welcome, this is Maryland's version of a new student convocation. Over 4,000 new students gather in Xfinity Center and are officially welcomed to the University. This event features short speeches by President Loh, student leaders, and other esteemed guests.

All Niter
One of the last Fridays in September
Stamp's biggest party! Activities start in the afternoon and continue until almost 4am! Previous activities have included Bingo, caricature and airbrush artists, movies in the Hoff, fashion shows, carnival games, aerial artists, and a late night dance party. Student organizations and departments are encouraged to register and sponsor various events and performances throughout the  night Visit https://stamp.umd.edu/activities/special_events_

Homecoming
Fall Semester
University of Maryland's Homecoming celebration is a week-long schedule of activities that culminates in the Terp Carnival on Friday night, and the Homecoming football game on Saturday. Homecoming Week events are conceptualized and planning primarily by the Student Homecoming Committee.  Visit homecoming.umd.edu for more information.

Second Look Fair
First Thursday in February
Learn how to get involved by visiting student organizations and university departments at the Organization and Involvement Fair. Check out entertainment activities around the building and enjoy food and vendor specials throughout the day. Everyone is welcome as the Stamp kicks off the spring semester. Maryland Day
Last Saturday in April
A family-friendly campus wide event featuring hundreds of interactive exhibits, workshops, and live performances. Come and discover the best of the University's academics, athletics, and the arts along with new programs. Visit marylandday.umd.edu for more information.


Ongoing Events and Programs

Stamp Study Zone
Around Finals Week each semester
Refuel, recharge, and relax during Finals Week. Activities have included free 10-minute chair massages, free food, and rooms designated for study space. Visit the Stamp Study Zone website for more information.

Sizzlin' Summer Series
Throughout the summer
The Sizzlin' Summer Series is a partnership between Stamp Special Events and University Recreation and Wellness, and includes a weekly summer lunchtime concert series, summer in the city trips, outdoor recreation trips with Maryland Adventure Program, fitness classes, and a cook-out! The summer concerts are every Thursday from 12pm-1pm and features non-UMD performers. Additionally, Stamp Special Events sponsors various trips around the DC/MD/VA area, ranging from small trips to museums to larger, day long trips to amusement parks. Though many of the summer in the city trips do cost money, they are at a significantly reduced rate.
