What is B.A.N.? 

The Black Alliance Network (B.A.N.) unites student leaders representing all the black organizations on the University of Maryland, College Park campus. B.A.N is an extension of the Black Student Union and serves the following purposes: 

A) Meet monthly to discuss issues concerning the black community on campus and produce a calendar of the black student organization events

B) Serve as the liaison body between the black student community and administration at the University of Maryland, College Park 

C) Work to encourage co-sponsored events amongst black student organizations

D) Serve as a political voice for the black community at the University of Maryland, College Park
