The Alternative Breaks Scholarship Fund
The UMD Alternative Breaks Scholarship provides funding for students who need financial assistance in order to participate in community service-learning experiences during the University's breaks. Give today so we can keep our programs equitable, affordable, and accessible!
Alternative Breaks has been the highlight of my college career. I have gained new perspectives from peers with diverse backgrounds and increased my understanding of the intersection of a variety of social issues. I will forever cherish the opportunity that the AB scholarship has given me to find my passion and develop useful skills in leadership and teamwork.
