Work or Volunteer for the Camp

Instructors โ Instructors are professionals in their creative fields. Camp Instructors will work in collaboration with the camp director and will lead each group of 15 campers with projects in a specific medium. Instructors are supported by one counselor and at least one CIT per group of campers. Campers rotate through 2D art, 3D art, and performance (drumming, dance, music, or theater) during the day. Camper age groups are 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12.
Camp Counselor โ Counselors will work under the camp director and are assigned to a group of 15 campers to work with, along with the instructors, and an additional counselor or counselor in training. Counselors provide extra supervision of the group, help out the instructors as needed, tend to any emergencies, and watch the campers during lunch. Campers rotate through 2D art, 3D art, and performance (drumming, dance, or theater) during the day. Camp Counselors must be at least 18 years old and this position is ideal for college students. Counselors must go through CPR and First Aid training (provided by Studio A) or already be CPR/First Aid certified.
Camp Counselor-in-Training (CIT) โ Counselors in Training are an unpaid volunteer position ideal for high school students age 15-17 looking for service-learning hours. CITs work under the camp director and are also assigned to a group of campers to work with, along with the instructors and a counselor. CITS help out the instructors and counselors as needed, support staff in any emergencies, and watch and organize games for the campers during lunch. To apply, please fill out this interest form.
