Lei Danielle Escobal
Lei Danielle Escobal is a double major in Sociology and American Studies with a minor in Asian American Studies from Glen Arm, Maryland. Her leadership and involvement experiences include the following activities: Co-President and Vice President of Internal Affairs of the Asian American Student Union, Co-Director of Public Relations of the Filipino Cultural Association, Research Assistant for the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy, and Leadership.

Eileen Chen
Eileen is a finance and information systems major from Rockville, Maryland. She is a first-generation college student who is part of the College Park Scholars Public Leadership Program, an inaugural member of the Smith Business Leadership Fellows Program, and a member of the QUEST honors program. She serves as the President of the Women in Business Association and Alpha Kappa Psi and the Vice President of Marketing for the Smith Finance Group.
Gabrielle Hester
Gabrielle is a Presidential Scholarship recipient and President of the DCC Honors Program, Design Director and incoming Marketing Director at SEE, D&I Director at Technica, Adobe Ambassador, Product Designer at Hack4Impact, Resident Assistant, Honors Ambassador, Do Good Institute Fellow, and designs for numerous other clubs. Additionally, Gabrielle founded the Petal Project.
Dhruvak Mirani
Dhruvak is an Honors College student pursuing dual degrees in Computer Science and Government and Politics with an International Relations concentration. He serves as student liaison to the College Park City Council and Co-President of 4MB, a music club. He is an incoming member of the university system’s Board of Regents.

Arun is a Finance and Computer Science double major from Bethesda, Maryland. This Presidential and Interdisciplinary Honors College Scholar serves as President of the North Hill Area Council, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and the Smith Investment Fund.
Atrey Desai
Atrey is a Computer Science and Linguistics double major from Saratoga, California. This FIRE student serves as a FIRE Student Leadership Council member, CMNS Ambassador, and Associate Editor at UMD's STYLUS magazine. He also does research at the UTA-ACL group and volunteers for various cultural clubs on campus.
Maja Durkovic
Maja is a Public Policy and Government and Politics (B.S.) dual degree student from Baltimore, Maryland. This Banneker/Key Scholar is a student ambassador for the School of Public Policy and the Honors Humanities LLP. She also works as an undergraduate teaching assistant and is a member of Kappa Omega Alpha, UMD’s premier public policy professional fraternity.
Elliot Gerig
Elliot is a Mechanical Engineering major from Severna Park, Maryland. This Banneker/Key Scholar is a sub-team lead in training for TerpsRacing and a member of UMD LOOP, ASME, and Phi Kappa Phi. He also serves his honors college living-learning program, Design Cultures and Creativity, as a student council member.
Tracy Ly
Tracy is a Physiology and Neurobiology major and a Sociology minor from Ellicott City, Maryland. As an Honors Ambassador in the Integrated Life Sciences program, she volunteers with Maryland Mentor Corps, serves as the treasurer of the American Red Cross Club, and is a member of Club Figure Skating.
Wren Massey
Wren is a Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Spanish double major from Boonsboro, Maryland who plans to attend law school. As an Honors Humanities student, they have volunteered with Terps4Change and they are a faithful member of Queer Crafting and the Maryland Civic Education Coalition.
Uchechi Mba
Uchechi is a Pre-Law Government/Politics major from Sykesville, Maryland. This Banneker/Key Scholar, Honors Ambassador, and Advisory Board member of the Interdisciplinary Business Honors program serves as a Spanish Tutor and as Outreach Director for Business Beyond Borders. She also leads as Vice President of the Black Honors
Caucus.
Anushka Poddar
Anushka is a Banneker-Key scholar and University Honors student from Silver Spring, Maryland. She is majoring in bioengineering with minors in Spanish and Health, Humanities, and Medicine. Anushka serves as a volunteer EMT and leader in Engineers Without Borders. She also does on-campus research in microbiology on tuberculosis bacteria imaging.
Kayla Sebastian
Kayla, a pre-dental student from York, Pennsylvania, is pursuing a dual degree in biochemistry and Spanish. This Presidential Scholarship recipient is in the FIRE Program, serves as Elkton Hall’s Residence Hall Council President, is a Maryland Images tour guide, and interns at Mary’s Center dental services, a non-profit healthcare center.
Michelle Wang
Michelle is an Environmental Science & Policy and Social Data Science dual degree from Timonium, Maryland. She is a Banneker/Key Scholar in the University Honors College. She is the Communication Director of 17 for Peace and Justice and is a member of UMD's Maryland Student Legislature, Model United Nations, and Taiwanese American Student Association.
