What is Study Break?

Scheduled at the end of each semester, study breaks are designed to encourage grad students to take time off and spend some quality time for themselves and/or with their peers.

Breaks are important to prevent study fatigue, maintain focus, and allows your mind to refresh and improve creativity.

12:00 PM - 8:00 PM – Creative Kits
Location: Studio A

Explore your creativity and make something to decorate your personal space. With the help of Studio A, you can paint your own ceramic turtle bank or create one of three nail and string art designs (cactus, paw, or flamingo) with one of their nifty kits! You'll receive all materials to complete one of these projects. You can pick up one of these kits at Studio A (labeled the Art & Learning Center on the map) and use their space to complete the project or do it at your own time wherever you feel most inspired. This is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Just ask for a GSL creative kit, share your name, and show your ID to the Studio A staff.
