NOTICE: URGENT COVID ACTIONS

 

Effective at 12 noon Sat., February 20 through Sat., February 27, STAMP will ONLY be open for COVID Testing or for grab-and-go food. 


The UBC will be closed until Monday, March 1. Textbooks and course materials are available to order online and students can utilize the ship-to-home or Curbside Check-Out option. There will be no public entrance.

Mask are Required by all parties. This includes walk-up and vehicle customers.

Course Materials & Supplies

The University Book Center is a “one-stop-shop” and you will have many choices of various available textbook formats, such as new and used books, rental options, and easy to get digital choices as well. You may visit the University Book Center in person and/or online. Whether you are taking classes virtually and/or on campus, we want to make sure you have multiple ways to secure your course materials, including having them shipped to your home and or delivered as a digital book. 

 

We know that you want to find the most affordable options and the UBC is a great choice. We offer a price-match program (matching qualified pricing of Amazon and others) and for peace of mind, the UBC provides a textbook refund policy covering the first 30 days of classes. You can also charge your books to your student account in the store and take advantage of many online payment options.  Our University Book Center staff stands ready to help you make the most cost effective choice for you and your family.

 

Here are a few easy steps to view your customized course material list.

  • Go to Testudo (testudo.umd.edu/)
  • Click "Student Schedule" 
  • Login with your UMD credentials
  • Select the correct "Term" from the drop down menu
  • Click "Book List" to see your course material requirements
    • Our UBC management team receives regular updates from our faculty so if information isn't posted yet, don't worry, they are working on getting the information.

Curbside Service & Free Ground Shipping On All Orders Over $75

Given the changes we're all experiencing because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University Book Center is offering Curbside Service and free ground shipping on all orders over $75. You are encouraged to order your Winter and Spring term textbooks and supplies online and ship them to your home or off-campus residence.  If you are on or near campus, you can select our Curbside Service option and download our "My College Bookstore" from your App Store and take advantage of our new, convenient Curbside option located on Union Lane. Tip: Be sure to download the app and let us know when leave and arrive. We'll have your Curbside ready when you get here!

 

Please be sure to confirm store hours before driving to the Stamp Union for Curbside pick-up. TIP: The Stamp Student Union and the bookstore is typically closed over the Winter Break. The UBC will ship orders during this closure. Allow for 5-7 days for processing time.
