Mission Statement:
The mission of the TerpZone is to provide services and a facility to support the social, educational, and recreational mission of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union – Center for Campus Life, as well as those of the University of Maryland community. As such, the TerpZone encourages our community not only to utilize its services and facility in support of recreational goals, but also to expand upon their social engagements through involvement in leisurely competitive and non-competitive activities.
Background Information:
The TerpZone is located in room B0106 of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union, which is on the Basement Level and next door to the Lower Entrance of the University Book Center as well as Studio A. We welcome all University of Maryland students, faculty, staff, alumni in addition to all visitors to the University of Maryland to enjoy what our facility has to offer.
TerpZone features include (8) Brunswick Bowling Lanes, (10) Gold Crown 9' Billiard Tables, a Lounge Area with (2) 120" Projection Screen TV & (4) 50" Plasma TVs, 4 TVs with Video Game consoles (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation). We also offer Daily Specials/Promotions, Group Reservations, and Locker Rentals.
Looking for something fun to do with your weekend? Join us at TerpZone for our Cosmic Friday and Saturday Nights during the Fall and Spring semesters! Get your bowl on with colored lights, spinning disco balls, and black lights. Bring all your friends out to enjoy the great music and lively atmosphere. Cosmic bowling takes place every Friday and Saturday night from 8 pm until 1 am.
