Elliot Doughtie, Richard Hart, Danni O’Brien, and James Williams II contend with the power of materials and images to invoke what is absent, elsewhere, postponed, or in hiding.

    August 28 - September 30, 2023 Opening reception: Wednesday, September 13, 2023, 5-7PM Free and open to the public College Park, MD. This fall the Stamp Gallery at the University of Maryland, College Park, presents What We Do After: CAPP New Arrivals 2023, an exhibition of artwork acquired this year by the University’s Contemporary Art Purchasing Program (CAPP).

  • CALL FOR PROPOSALS: ARTIST IN RESIDENCE EXHIBITION

    The Stamp Gallery at the University of Maryland, College Park, is seeking proposals for one artist-in-residence exhibition project which will develop in the Gallery over the course of five weeks beginning in March 2024. The AiR program is designed to give the University of Maryland community, as well as the Capital Region Arts community, opportunities to engage with art in-process, experience artwork that is dynamic in nature, and interact with arts professionals.
