Di-Tu Dissassa (she/her/hers) is the Cross-Cultural Graduate Assistant, focusing on Interfaith and Cross cultural involvement. Di-Tu Is a current Ph.D. student in the Student Affairs program in the Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Special Education. Di-Tu graduated with her Master of Arts from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2014. In addition to her work at MICA, she also works as a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Diversity and Inclusion in Higher Education (CDIHE). Di-Tu identifies as Christian and enjoys interfaith dialogue as well as working with students who are questioning or are spiritually curious. Please reach her at dissassa@umd.edu for any questions, comments or interest. 


Amara Kamal (she/her/hers) is the Community Organizing Student Intern (COSI) for Interfaith & Spiritual Diversity. She is a double major Operations Management & Business Analytics and Information Systems at the Robert H. Smith Business School. She is a member of the Quality Enhancement Systems & Teams (QUEST) Honors program and the Global Communities Living and Learning program. Amara is a practicing Muslim and the daughter of two Indian immigrants. She strives to create an inclusive interfaith community at UMD and explore the intersectionality of interfaith with the arts, mental health, and other involvement areas.
